• All salary payments are subject to Japanese national income tax.
• Salaries are paid by bank transfer; cash payments are made only as a rare exception after discussion with the HR manager.
• Salaries are paid with the regular payroll on the 20th of any month. Occasional exceptions may be made for college students or others travelling overseas.
• Temporary workers other than substitutes and summer school/camp workers are required to submit a timecard (available in the business office) by the 5th of the month for payment to be included in that month’s payroll.
• Salary questions should be directed to the HR manager.
