Students
Develop an environment valuing individual and cultural differences, encouraging unity and collaboration balancing high expectation while meeting the needs of students
- Use community resources to support students such as professional services, governmental services, partnerships, speakers, etc.
- Balance of academics with extracurricular activities
- Foster student self-esteem through high expectations for each student and recognition of successes
Program
Effectively implements 21st century global competencies with a biblical perspective preparing our students for lives of service
- Use best-in-class tools to assess students’ progress on our standards.
- Validate the curriculum meets and exceeds global standards
- Prepare our students to be global citizens, promote 21st century skills
aligned with student objectives, evaluate e-learning opportunities
- Be intentional in supporting student learning in a global environment
- that is reflected in the school's mission, schoolwide learner outcomes,
and program.
- Prepare students to be socially and/or spiritually aware of how different
the rest of the world is compared to our community
Culture
Welcome and nurture students and families, providing a safe and intellectually stimulating community, providing for the emotional, physical, spiritual, and social development of our students
- CAJ culture to be derived from and driven by the mission: equipping students to serve Japan and the world for Christ. To do this, students to be equipped with global competencies, a strong biblical perspective, and an awareness of and appreciation for God's world. Students are given multiple opportunities for serving their local and global community.
