Below is a quick snapshot of the PTA-sponsored events for this school year. Your participation and willingness to help is what makes these events possible.

Date Event Description
August New Family Orientation Parents of new students learn important information about life at CAJ.
September Welcome Party CAJ parents welcome new parents into the CAJ community with snacks, games, and Q&A time.
October Fall Festival and Bazaar CAJ welcomes parents and invites friends to a school festival. The PTA helps coordinate a thrift shop and bazaar to help raise funds.
December Christmas Baked Goods Delivery Parent-donated goodies are presented to neighbors and businesses in the Higashi Kurume area.
February Staff Appreciation Day Special appreciation is given to our wonderful staff members.
April Spring New Family Welcome Party Newly enrolled parents are invited to learn about important information and life at CAJ.
May Spring Party The PTA rents out vendor tables for the sale of craft items and baked goods along with student-led games and activities.
June Graduation Reception A celebration to honor the graduates is held immediately after the graduation ceremony.
Summer Scripture Memory Program Students in grades 4-12 are given the opportunity to memorize Scripture for a monetary reward.
