親としての責任に関する同意書

Thank you for choosing CAJ. We know that you have many options for your child's education and we are glad that you chose to share this important responsibility with us.
数ある教育機関の中から、お子様の教育の場としてCAJを選んでいただいたことに感謝します。子どもを教育するという大切な責任を、私たちと共に担うよう選ばれたことを嬉しく思います。

We invite parents to know and understand our mission, values, (https://www.caj.ac.jp/about/mission.php) and the policies that guide our lives together, listed in divisional handbooks found on the CAJ website.
私たちが掲げるミッションと価値観（https://www.caj.ac.jp/about/mission.php、 そして学校生活の指針となるポリシーを、ご一読いただき理解くださるようお願いいたします。ポリシーは、CAJのウェブサイト内の、それぞれの学部のハンドブックに記載されています。

CAJ commits to accomplishing this in a safe and nurturing environment with a vision to help each child be all they can be. We ask for parents to also agree to certain commitments that will foster our relationship together in this important task.
CAJは、安全に児童生徒を育成する環境を提供し、児童生徒がそれぞれの可能性を最大限のばせるよう全力を注ぎます。そのためには、保護者の方々と協力して取り組むことが必要であり、保護者の皆様に対しても以下の点について同意を求めます。

Support the philosophy and culture
学校の理念と文化を支持する

• Support the school’s mission, core values, student objectives, programs and all initiatives towards their achievement.
• 学校が掲げるミッション、基盤となる価値観、学習目標、プログラム、それらを達成するために図られる学校の取り組みの全てを支持します。
• Contribute to a positive school environment, avoiding conduct which creates or promotes intolerance or disharmony among the parents, students and staff. Avoid any pressure on others in the CAJ community to support any particular organizations, causes or products through money or activity.
• 建設的な学校環境を構築することに寄与します。親同士、生徒、または教職員に対する不寛容な言動、調和を乱す行為、またはそれらを誘発する行為を避けます。CAJのコミュニティー内で、特定の組織、活動、商品などを金銭または参加を通して支援するよう他人を強いることは、どのような形であれ避けます。
• Use channels of communication established by the school when seeking a resolution to a problem or concern.
• 問題または懸念があり、解決を図る場合、学校が定めた方法によるコミュニケーション手段を取ります。
• Attend parent/teacher conferences, meetings and workshops to learn about Christian Academy in Japan and how I can support my child.
• 親/保護者と教師との会合、面談、ワークショップに出席し、クリスチャン・アカデミー・イン・ジャパンを理解し、自分がどのようにしたら子どもを支えられるかを探ります。
• Cooperate with teachers and school leaders in support of the progress of my child.
• 子どもの学業向上を支援するために、教師や学校のリーダーに協力します。
• I will abide by CAJ’s health regulations by keeping my child away from school when he or she is sick.
• CAJが定めた健康に関する規定に従い、子どもの体調が優れない時は、登校せずに自宅で静養するようにします。

Support the curriculum and academics
カリキュラムと学業を支持する

• Support the school’s curriculum philosophy and practice.
• 学校のカリキュラム理念とその履行を支持します。
• Accept the school’s final placement of my child.
• 学校が決定する私の子どもの学年を受け入れます。
• Understand that the school defines the need for and level of language/learning support given and that there may be additional fees attached to the support.
• 子どもは求められる語学水準に達しているか否か、または子どもに学習支援が必要か否かは学校が決定することを理解します。その結果、支援に必要な追加費用が発生する場合があることも理解します。

• Read and understand information and communications from the school.
• 学校からの情報提供、伝達事項に目を通し、理解します。
• Ensure my child’s regular attendance and punctuality at school.
• 子どもの登校と出席に責任を持ちます。
• Support my child’s involvement in co-curricular activities.
• 子どもの部活動を支援します。
• Play an active role in monitoring my child’s screen time and online behavior.
• 子どもが画面を見て過ごす時間（テレビ、ゲーム、パソコン、スマホ等）とインターネット上で何を見ているかをしっかり観察し、積極的に親としての役割を果たします。
• Play an active role in my child’s academic learning.
• 子どもの学業習得に必要な親としての役割を積極的に果たします。
• Ensure that my child is able to access their school work online from home for a reasonable amount of time outside school hours.
• 学校以外の時間に、子どもが家庭で適切な時間内に、学校で学習していることにアクセスできるようオンライン環境を確保します。

Support the school
学校の方針を支持する

• Guarantee that my child will be living daily with a parent or a legal guardian.
• 私の子どもは、親もしくは法に基づく親権者と、日々生活を共にしていることを保証します。
• Understand that if abuse or neglect are suspected, CAJ is obliged to report these concerns to the local authorities. (See CAJ’s Child Protection Policy 3.2.3: definition of abuse.)
• もし虐待や育児放棄が疑われる場合には、CAJは地域の自治体にそれを報告する義務があることを了承します。（CAJ児童保護規定3.2.3:　虐待の定義を参照ー英語のみ）
• Pay all fees as established by the school in accordance with authorized payment plans. In case of non-payment, the school may restrict families from charging their family account, restrict students from attending classes, withhold report cards, and/or refuse re-enrollment for the following semester.
• 学校が制定した授業料とその他の費用は、学校が認めている支払い計画に沿って支払います。支払いが滞った場合、ファミリーアカウントへのチャージの停止、授業への出席停止、成績表の保留、次学期への登録拒否などの措置を学校が取る場合があることを理解します。
• Understand that the school reserves the right to use and display student images, videos and voice recordings for a variety of purposes, including advertising, marketing and sharing within the community. Student surnames will not be publicized.
• 学校が、宣伝広告やマーケティングなどの目的で、生徒の画像、ビデオ映像、音声収録を使用、公表し、コミュニティー内でそれらを共有する権利を保有することを理解します。生徒の姓が公開されることはありません。
