  • Decisions regarding salaries are made by a 4-person sub-committee of the Leadership Team.

CAJ pays additional stipends for optional co-curricular coaching and sponsoring assignments and summer school teaching.

Housing[edit]

CAJ does not provide housing free of charge to its staff. However, CAJ does arrange and enter into off-campus housing agreements on behalf of its employees (for first two years) and occasionally has vacancies in one of several school apartments available for rent in a four-story staff housing building adjacent to campus.

Raising Additional Support[edit]

CAJ's salary is enough to live on, depending on lifestyle choices, but it may be beneficial for some of our employees to consider soliciting additional financial support from friends, family and churches.

Some staff choose to be affiliated with a mission agency while working directly for CAJ. Each mission has different procedures in place and staff members are encouraged to talk to staff at a mission's home office.

Staff not affiliated with a mission agency may choose to enter a fund-raising agreement with Resourcing Christian Education (RCE). Donations made through RCE qualify for US tax benefits. Further information is available from the RCE website or from CAJ HR department.
