Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2)
2 eggs, slightly beaten powdered sugar

Directions
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles course crumbs. Add bananas and eggs; stir with fork just until blended. Spread evenly into greased and floured 9" x 5"x 2 3/4" loaf pan. Bake at 350 ̊F for 50 - 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center come out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes then remove. Cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
