Alumna gifts picture book to CAJ students

Alumna Kathryn Ritchie Gierke saw a recent instagram post about the CAJ library and generously sent two copies of her book “The Great Big Snow Adventure” to add to our collection.

Kathryn shared, “My father was in the Air Force and retired while in Japan. I was in the class of 1985 and attended from 7th grade through 10th before returning to the US. CAJ was instrumental in turning me into a student, athlete, musician and a Christian. I was surrounded by so many wonderful people and will always be grateful for being blessed with the experience. The book “The Great Big Snow Adventure” is based on childhood memories of living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Houghton). We had a lot of snow and a need to be outside! I hope your students enjoy the adventure.”
