Varsity volleyball loses 3-0 against ASIJ

The varsity volleyball team lost 2-0 (9-25, 21-25, 14-25) at home against ASIJ on Thursday night. The Knights' season record is now 4-4.
"In the second set, we were much more committed to keeping the ball in play," coach Steve Hall said. Hall challenged the team to "play like Mitsuki" and fly around, put their bodies on the line and even bump into teammates if necessary to retrieve the ball, and it worked.
"As a team, we don't play like that enough. It kind of went away in set No. 3," Hall said. "We'd be a totally different team if we played like that consistently."
The Knights will play next at Seisen next Wednesday.
