MS boys' basketball A Team places third at tournament

The middle school boys' basketball A Team placed third at its season-ending tournament at ASIJ on Saturday. The Knights ended with a 5-5 record for the season.
On Saturday, CAJ started with a 39-36 victory against St. Mary's. A 41-22 loss to BST knocked the Knights out of contention for first place, but the team bounced back for a 39-25 win against host team ASIJ. Both St. Mary's and ASIJ had beaten CAJ once earlier in the season.
The B Team also played a jamboree of five shortened games at ASIJ on Saturday. Coach Charles Smoker said "fun" was the main purpose of the day for his team, as official statistics were not kept for these games.
