MS girls' basketball A Team places third in tournament

The middle school girls' basketball A Team finished its season with a third-place finish in the A Team Tournament at ASIJ on Saturday. CAJ won two games and lost once during the day.
The Knights started off the day with a 25-9 win over NIS in the first round. Co-coach Steve Hall commented that a strong offensive first half was key. The team had 22 of its points by halftime.
CAJ couldn't hang with Seisen in the semifinals, though, losing 44-16. The Knights had "too many turnovers", according to Hall.
The Knights pulled through for a strong final game in their third-place matchup against ASIJ. The team was down 21-20, but Hall commented that the Knights scored the game's final 11 points to finish with a strong double-digit win of 31-21.
A Team also finished third place during regular season play. The team's overall season record was 7-3.
