The girls' and boys' tennis teams were each unable to come away with wins at ASIJ on Wednesday afternoon. Both varsity teams fell 5-0 to very strong Mustang teams.
"We played the No. 1 team, so it’s kind of hard to assess where we are," boys' coach Ushio Sawada said. "But we have good attitudes, everybody is in a good mood. We're a good team."
Sawada added that he saw some encouraging things from both teams in the match:
"Kento was injured with shoulder problems, so he had to serve underhand the whole match, but [he and Eugene] still managed to win three games in both sets. So that was probably one of the highlights.
For the girls, we had a lot of players who were playing a tennis match for the first time, so they did pretty good despite that."
This is how the individual scores ended up:

1st Singles- Kaitlyn loses 0-6, 1-6
2nd Singles- Hanna loses 0-6, 1-6
3rd Singles- Jenny loses 1-6, 0-6

2nd Doubles- JaeEun and Sophie lose 0-6, 0-6
