MS boys' basketball gets win against BST and loss against NIS

CAJ's middle school boys' basketball teams played a combined two games on Saturday at home. A Team won 48-36 against BST and B Team lost 33-23 against NIS.

Coach Steve Hall commented on the A Team's performance:

"The A Team was a bit rusty, as this was their first game after the break. They were a bit careless with the ball throughout the game and struggled a bit defensively as well. Timely shooting and several transition makes helped to build a comfortable lead early in the second half that they were able to maintain."

The Knights' leading scorers were J (14 points), Joe (13 points) and Noah (13 points).

B Team coach Caleb Cummings also said this about B Team''s game:

"We played against a pretty evenly matched opponent today, but we didn't play with enough intensity for the whole game, and it ended in a loss. There's a lot of growing still happening, and our defense had some really good sparks today!"

The teams' records are now 3-0 (A Team) and 1-3 (B Team). Both teams, as well as the C Team, will play at YIS next Saturday.
