The high school girls' cross country team lost against ASIJ by a score of 17-46 at Tama Hills on Saturday. The Knights now have a 2-3 record this season.
CAJ's girls ran the 4.4-kilometer upper course for the first time of the season on Saturday. The team's top five runners were Kiera (20:22.1, 7th out of 47 varsity runners), Anna (22:24.1, 28th), Joy (22:25.8, 29th), Jia (24:21.4, 36th) and Sara (26:35.8, 42nd).
Full results from the meet are available here.
"Our lead runners exceeded their goal times today," Rudd said. "Even moving to the 4.4-kilometer course for the first time this season, I think they did a better job making transition than expected."
The Knights will run the upper 4.4-kilometer course again at Tama Hills next Saturday.
