HS girls' cross country places 7th at Kanto Plains Finals

CAJ's high school girls' cross country team competed at Kanto Plains Finals at Tama Hills on Saturday. The Knights placed seventh out of eight scoring teams.
Kiera led CAJ by placing seventh out of 67 varsity girl runners with a time of 19:41.5, earning All-Star honors as a top-15 finisher. Sion (22:04.4, 44th), Anna (22:09.0, 47th), Joy (22:43.1, 49th) and Jia (23:56.9, 53rd) rounded out the Knights' top five runners.

"The girls had a great day, with many of them improving on their times from this season," coach Nate Rudd said. "Five out of our seven runners ran their season-best times."
The Knights' season is done officially, but the cross country runners have the annual Fun Run on Monday right after school in the gym lobby.
